"A Taste Of Flight"

The low-cost way to discover if paragliding is for you.

Larger View      In this two-hour clinic, you and your friends will work closely with your instructor as you learn the basics of foot launched flight in a paraglider. We will cover the equipment we use, setup the wing and harness and do a flight check.
We will demonstrate how to 'build a wall', do a forward inflation, and control the wing on the ground. You will then clip into the harness and learn how to do a forward inflation, steering the glider while running forward.
We will then move up the slope a bit and let you feel how the glider begins to lift you off the ground gently as you build the energy during the launch run.
You will not fly from the top of the hill, but you may get your feet off the ground on the lower slope. Bring one, two or more friends and experience a Taste of Flight!
If you want to really see what it's like to fly a paraglider, enroll in a Day Lesson and you will fly from the top of the hill by the end of the first lesson! As always, the price of "A Taste Of Flight" or Day Lesson may be applied toward the Novice Certification if you choose to pursue the sport.
