For a long time, local and
national pilots have asked for intermediate and advanced flight training.
Fly Above All is responding to the flying community by introducing The
Masters Series.
This series of clinics by accomplished paraglider
pilots will focus on a variety of subjects, such as weather, cross-country
principles, preparation for competition, excellence in instruction, thermal
dynamics, aerobatics, flying philosophies, video production and equipment
seminars by the people that actually fly and design the gliders.
Featured guest instructors include master
pilots such as Chris Santacroce, Tom Truax, Will Gadd, Kari Castle, Dixon
White, Peter Grey, Ryan Swan, Robbie Whittall, Jeff Farrell, Othar Lawrence
and more.
The Masters Series will start early on Saturday
mornings with clinic material presentation and discussion. We will then
break for a mid day flying session at one of our local sites, meeting
again later for a follow-up (or wrap-up) gathering evaluating clinic benefits.
The day will finish with a BBQ and afterburner party for the participants
and instructor(s).
This is a perfect opportunity to get some
quality time with some of the best pilots, instructors and contributors
to the sport. These sessions will bring the latest information and techniques
to you, giving any pilot, whether new or pro, a chance to learn something
valuable.
If you are planning on visiting from out
of the area, limited accomodations or camping may be available at certain
pilot's homes, or you can reserve a hotel (www.santabarbara.com
or www.santabarbarahotelsetc.com)
nearby.
