Becoming a paragliding instructor can be one of the most satisfying aspects of your flying career. Sharing the gift of flight is immensely rewarding for both you and your student.

To teach an adept student to launch, fly and land a paraglider in smooth conditions can be relatively easy. However, instilling an informed understanding and skill set that results in the ability to choose appropriate conditions, equipment, sites as well as the mental disposition to fly safely takes a great teacher. A good instructor in not just training a student to handle their first flight, they are preparing the foundation for a lifetime of safe flights.

In the Paragliding Instructor Clinic, you will learn basic instructor techniques and tricks of the trade. We have students that range in age from 12 - 85. We teach on a daily basis in a variety of conditions. Therefore, apprentice instructors will have the opportunity to work hands on, side by side with top instructors as they train students of all skill levels.

Begin your Instructor training with this clinic. Then complete your 40 hours of required apprentice time with a school or instructor of your choice. After completing your apprenticeship, return for a one-day clinic that includes testing. Upon successful completion you will be awarded the Paragliding Basic Instructor Rating.
