Here is my experience with the ham radio class. I think these guys really deserve our thanks and more pilots should know about them.

I attended a ham radio class on december 2th and 9th. The organizer (Dennis Morales) also managed to set up a test on the 9th. Joe Heumphreus gave the class. I really recommend the HG and PG pilots who need a radio license to take this class.
     Joe is incredibly competent, both Dennis and him are very friendly and professional. They lost at least 2 saturdays for this class, and they don't charge anything. They even provide the manual for free. The class consisted mainly in watching video tapes, and was good enough to make us easily learn enough to pass the test. Everybody succeded. I almost did not work (2 hours ?) between the two classes.
     I am very grateful to Joe and Dennis (and the people who came on the 9th to give us the test) and again I strongly recommend other pilots who need a license to take this class.
