The cycles were actually very light over the back, with periods of no wind. We set up and got all ready, but the 'foehn' wind was increasing from the south, so we bagged it and walked back up to the tram. The lower tram level was really lively with music, ski and snowboard jump competition, trampolines, a pool to try to ski across and more! We stopped at Plaine Joux for another flight on our way to Lake Annecy, but the air was light with the smell of fresh cow patties. We took the short drive to Lake Annecy while we watched the clouds develop, hoping it would not prevent us from flying. When we arrived, there were many pilots in the air, and we headed for launch. By the time we arrived at the top, the clouds had developed and were pushing wind from the north. We flew down, but there was no lift and we descended on the paragliding boutiques. That night we headed into Annecy for some more food and wine, and walked around in the city amazed by the water canals.
