Registration at this time may only be done at the Mandatory Pilots Meeting on Friday, September 20th at 6pm at the White Mountain Research Station. All entry fees must now be paid with cash - no checks or credit cards.

Entry Fee: $360.

All registration fees are prepaid, nontransferable and non-refundable.

You must also complete and return the Pilot Registration and Release of Liability forms.

There are two Paragliding competition categories: "Overall" and "Serial Class". US Nationals ranking will include only pilots possessing US citizenship. Check your ranking here.

Advanced (P4) Pilots only may compete, with turbulence and X-C sign offs. Competitors are expected to be familiar with the contents of the Local Rules (available soon) and the USHGA Rule Book. Copies will be available for a $5 printing fee at the meet.

The FAI sporting license is required if you want your placing to count toward your international pilot ranking. This is important for the US nation ranking, which determines team sizes at World Championships. It is also required for official world records. The license can be purchased with a credit card from the National Aeronautical Association (800) 644-9777 or online at http://www.fai.org/.

FREE FLYING
Because of transportation challenges, a one-lane four-wheel drive road and forest service requirements, free flying from Gunter will be restricted to Official Wind Dummies ("Wind Technicians") and launch volunteers after the start window has closed. Any flights from Flynn's, Paiute and Walt's Point are unregulated and not part of this competition, and there will be no competition enforced restrictions at these sites.
